Recorded piano, cello, violin, and vocals are combined with sonic recreations of familiar acoustic instruments and voices created through various digital techniques (including experimentations with their own neural networks/experiment with Melodyne). Both are processed in a way that their identities begin to merge and an uncanny acoustic line is drawn, which may get distorted by over-processed destructive moments.

Highly inventive and unique. I commented on one of Sebastian Tomb’s tracks with an operatic intro how I’d love to hear a noise opera and, lo and behold, I stumbled upon this artist! An extremely poetic and moving Gesamtkunstwerk. The modern equivalent of Verdi that deserves to be heard in an opera house, although the Tate Modern would have been impressive too! Saffron Robe
